Gameplay Mechanics

Here are the basic game mechanics of Auto Attacking, and Spell Casting.

AutoAttacking

1- SpaceBar is auto attack. Pressing it out of range will cause
your character to run up to the target with auto attack queued up.

2- While an auto attack is mid swing, it can be canceled by moving. (WASD or click to move)

3 – “Sliding Side Step”
After the auto attack hits, there is a small window where the attack is still finishing swinging.
During this window, the player can press a move button and the character will do a “sliding side step”
This is used to keep moving while attacking.

Spell Casting

3 important things:

  1. When you start casting a spell, you will STOP all movement.
  2. If you press a button to move while casting, the spell will be CANCELED.
  3. Therefore, to cast a spell successfully, you cannot move while you are casting it.

The above 3 are at the crux of spell/skill usage and will keep the battle clean and ensure that the combat is easy to follow.
